We owe Peter Tingberg and Genelle Edwards a rousing round of applause for the warm welcome we enjoyed at Trento. The food was simply amazing. The wines, all from Trento, Italy, were fascinating. We were welcomed like family by husband-and-wife owners Frank and Nina Seely, whose son Alex Kahn is one of the chefs. Alex, a CIA--Hyde Park graduate, and Chef Andreas Exarhos both came from Chef David Bull's Congress.
Ours, they said, was their most ambitious menu to date. Trento is known for its innovative approach to fresh ingredients, scratch cooking and its seasonal menu. Austin is fortunate to have such talent.
