As an additional benefit to our members, IWFS Americas works with wine and spirits experts around the world to create exclusive tasting kits and to lead online presentations and tastings. These sessions may focus on a specific producer, a type of beverage, or a specific geographic region. No purchase is necessary, and everyone can participate. These tastings are very educational and entertaining even if the tasting kits are unavailable in your area. We hope you - and your friends - can join us at an upcoming event. Dear IWFS Member,
The next International Wine & Food Society Virtual Tasting is “Riesling and Beyond: The New World of German Wine,” and will be held on Thursday, November 21, at 5pm pt/8pm et. We are delighted to have Paula Sidore as our guide for this event.
For those of you who joined this past summer’s IWFS Rhine River Cruise, you will remember Paula as the wine expert who led tastings and discussions on the trip. She is the co-founder of the digital TRINK Magazine, and is the German and Austrian specialist for jancisrobinson.com. She and her family live in Bonn, Germany, and we are fortunate to be able to connect with her while she is in the United States next month.
Working with Jenna Fields, founder and president of importer The German Wine Collection, Paula has assembled an enticing array of wines that highlight how German producers are excelling -- not only with Rieslings, but with Sekt and Pinot Noir as well. The tasting package includes:
