Our September Seafood Extravaganza at Truluck’s Downtown, 400 Colorado Street, on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 was truly an extravaganza! Arranged by Ruth Ann and Jacob Plotkin, with a helping hand from Donna Lee and Vince DiLoreto, the menu (see attached) was an amazing parade of creative and healthful courses (well, except for the Frozen S’mores Parfait!). Truluck’s, famous for its fresh-catch seafood menu, is a venerable and much-loved presence in the community. It is consistently rated at the very top of Austin’s restaurants and is a favorite for over-the-top celebrations. Thanks, Ruth Ann and Jacob, for negotiating this great deal for us.
