Juniper

Thanks Claudia and Steve Reingold for arranging for us to dine at Juniper, a beautiful and under-the-radar restaurant in East Austin.  Our event will be held Monday September 27th at 7 PM at 2400 E Cesar Chavez St, Unit 304, near the intersection with Pedernales St.  The cost is $120 per person, all inclusive, and guests are welcome.

Juniper has earned 4.5 stars out of 547 reviews on Google, and it is easy to see why.  The brainchild of chef and former Uchi creative director Nicholas Yanes, Juniper uses northern Italian cuisine as a springboard for creative and contemporary takes on smallish plates that deliver on taste, texture and plating.  One review describes Juniper’s approach as “combining Old World kitchen style with Texas Hill Country ingredients.”  Named after a giant tree etched on its wall, Juniper has a sleek aesthetic design with comfortable seating. 

Click here to see our special menu and wine pairings.  Of note is the entrée: BBQ Prime Rib with rosemary, fennel seed and orange.  Juniper’s owner, Mark is a Sommelier and is putting together the wine pairings for us.  We will add the pairings to the website as soon as they are available.

Dress is business casual.  Parking is available on E Cesar Chavez on the same side of the street as Juniper, just west of the restaurant.
