Mexican Fiesta Keys Style

Our delightful Mexican Fiesta began with a crisp 2023 Daou Sauvignon Blanc, perfectly paired with a medley of Mexican-inspired appetizers. We savored handmade cheese quesadillas drizzled with a smoky chipotle cream sauce, chorizo and mushroom cups bursting with flavor, roasted corn and pepper on a delicate handmade flour tortilla chip, and, of course, authentic guacamole alongside a zesty Salsa Fresca. 

The evening progressed with a rich Chili Relleno, stuffed with a quartet of cheeses, beautifully complemented by a 2020 L'Ecole Syrah. The main course featured a succulent Churrasco steak topped with vibrant chimichurri sauce, served alongside grilled green onion, red peppers, and zucchini. This course was elevated by the deep, complex notes of a 2022 50-year Anniversary Caymus Cabernet.

Our culinary journey concluded with a decadent tres leches cake, accompanied by homemade ice cream and a luscious caramel sauce. To finish, we enjoyed a selection of ports and Sauternes, each adding its own unique sweetness to the perfect finale.
