Dear Wine & Food Friends,

 

      On Sunday, March 8, 2015, we will have the pleasure of gathering at the home of Jean and Ray Durdin for a fabulous dinner prepared by Executive Chef David Denis of Le Mistral Restaurant, who has won numerous awards for his cooking in France and has been recognized as superior in his culinary skills by the French regional press.  Le Mistral represents all regions of France and was recently honored as Best Food in Houston by Zagat 2012, 2011 and 2010 among many other awards.

 

      Our reception begins at 6:30 PM followed by dinner at 7:00 PM.  Business attire accompanied with medallions is requested.  The Durdin’s home is located at 10 Farnham Park Drive, Houston, TX 77024.

 

Once you see the menu and wine selections, you will agree that this will be a wonderful evening of wine and food.  And I would like to thank Chuck Jacobus for generously donating a 1977 Ware’s Vintage Porto for our dessert course.  Thank you, Chuck.

 

The cost is $145 for members and $175 for guests.  We are limited to 56 attendees, so please mail the bottom portion along with your check in early to reserve your spot.
