We are excited to bring to you a unique dinner opportunity with Wilson Winery for the  "Winemaker Dinner" to be held at B&B Butchers & Restaurant on Wednesday, March 2nd.
 
Richard White and Mike Donohoe were approached by Alexis Kearney of Wilson Winery  ( http://www.wilsonwinery.comabout participating in a “winemaker dinner” where the very gregarious owner/winemaker, Diane Wilson, will be in attendance. Wilson Winery has recent medal-winning wines in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, winning Double Gold for her 2012 Reserve Coyote Cabernet Sauvignon and 6 Golds for her Zinfandel.
 
We have also had the good fortune to move the dinner from Sullivan's Steakhouse to B&B Butchers & Restaurant, the newest entrant to the Houston steakhouse scene with a vibrant venue that has been receiving excellent reviews. 
 
This dinner came about because Alexis used to work for Davis Family Vineyards, where she hosted the Houston branch for an event during our 2012 Sonoma road trip. She had such a fond memory of our group, that she wrote to us and invited us to join her and her wine club members for a wine dinner. It sounds like fun, and would give some local exposure to a brand seeking a broader audience.
 
Alexis will also send invitations to the 50+ Houston-area members of the Wilson Winery Wine Club, which will offer us a great opportunity to meet other like-minded wine and food enthusiasts.  
 
The cost for this event is $135 per person.  Dress code will be Business casual, and please note that seating will not be assigned.
 
Below is the detailed invitation for this event.  Seating is limited and you must RSVP by February 29th by calling the winery at 1-800-433-4602  between 11am-7pm Houston time.   Please tell them you are a member of IWFS and provide your credit card info.  Your card will be processed through Wilson Winery’s encrypted secure system, and you will receive an email confirmation.  If you have any food allergies, questions or concerns, please send them to Jean@WilsonWinery.com or you may call the 800 number.  Once I receive the menu, I will forward that to you.
