Please join us for the 6th Joy Fontes-Rothwell Classical Black-Tie Dinner on Saturday the 9th of April, at the Houston Racquet ClubExecutive Chef Bernard Hurley has created an exquisite menu to perfectly reflect the title of our dinner.  It has been more than two years since we’ve enjoyed the lovely setting of this venue, but now we return.

 

You may recall that Chef Bernard is a graduate of the Washburne Culinary Institute (the oldest in the U.S.), and trained at Valrhone-Ravifruit in Paris. Since coming to the Houston Racquet Club in 2010 our branch has enjoyed his inspired cuisine on several occasions.  Chef collaborated with Sommelier Isaac to create outstanding wine and food pairings for our pleasure.

 

The evening will kick off at 6:30 pm with the outstanding Perrier-Jouet Grand Brut Champagne with passed hors d’oeuvres.  A six-course sumptuous repast will follow at 7:15 pm promptly.

 

So join us as we honor Joy (she would have recently turned 103), and please send your check in right away, to secure your place.  The cost for this evening’s special seven-course menu with wines is a great value at just $190 for our members and $220 for our guests.  Send checks to:
