Dear Wine & Food Friends,

 

On Sunday evening, February 18, 2018, we will have the pleasure of dining at the top Houston restaurant Kiran’s.  The Chef and Owner Kiran Verma has personally helped to create the menu and wine pairings with some tastes that are exclusively for IW&FS and is very excited to have us as her guests for a very special dinner. If you have not been to Kiran’s new location on Richmond, you will be impressed by the beautiful new dining room featuring European/Indian fusion tastes and impeccable service.  

 

Chef Kiran Verma, considered the ‘godmother of Indian fine dining’, has created world-class Indian cuisine at her eponymous restaurant. Chef Kiran is a self-taught chef who has been guided by her Indian upbringing and a love of fine cuisine. She defines her cuisine as a combination of cultures, philosophies and cooking techniques. The restaurant is known for serving up Indian hospitality, with French sophistication and American informality. We are fortunate to be able to complement this elegant meal with 2 extraordinary wines from the IW&FS cellar and 3 wines from Kiran’s extensive high- Quality wine cellar.

 

The reception, with sparkling wine, will begin at 6:00 PM followed by dinner at 6:30 PM.    The dress is business attire or business casual. The restaurant is located at 2925 Richmond between Buffalo Speedway and Kirby. Complimentary valet parking is provided and can be accessed on the side of the building on Wakeforest Avenue.

 

This is a do not miss event. This will be very popular so please don’t delay in reserving your seats. The cost is $160 for members and $190 for guests
