Dear IWFS Members,

 

Please join us for dinner on Friday, August 23, 2019, at Brenner’s Steakhouse on the Bayou, 1 Birdsall Street, Houston, Texas 77007 for some great American food and wine.

 

The evening will begin at 6:30 p.m. with passed hors d’oeurvres and sparkling wine, followed by dinner at 7:00 p.m.

 

You’re in for a real treat—both from the standpoint of a gorgeous restaurant setting as well as fabulous food and wine.  The lush foliage and beautiful landscaping provide a welcome respite from Houston’s traffic and heat.

 

All of the wines being served are from U.S. wineries, with most coming from the IWFS cellar.  Executive Chef Ryan Braden has created a menu that is “All-American” with modern touches.

 

It is summer in Houston, so no jackets required for gentlemen—but collared shirts, please.  Ladies, “casual chic”—i.e., use your own good taste but it’s not a cocktail dress evening.
