It was another beautiful day at Epping Forest Yacht & Country Club. Mike Mass succeeded in obtaining Master Sommelier Andrew McNamara for a tasting of small grower champagnes and luncheon at a favorite location. It is only recently that these Champagnes have been imported to the United States in any quantity. They are very high quality and at a lower price than the "majors". Andrew gave a very informative and educational presentation on Champagnes, starting off with an excellent Cava and accompanied by a luncheon created by Executive Chef Mike Jablonski.
