Toulouse Lautrec enjoyed the entertainment of the courtesan and the cancan (circa 1890) in this Paris night spot.
A lively group of 20 members and 8 guests joined in at this great wine and food extravaganza that paid homage to a wonderful cabaret and music hall, The Moulin Rouge.
All were encouraged to let their imagination run wild with dress. Women dressed as sophisticated courtesans and men in 1890's French traditional clothing. And just for fun, Fran Albert put together a quiz about The Moulin Rouge. 2 winners received bottles of French wine.
Chef Brian Siebenschuh was asked to create a French dinner based on the wines which were pulled from The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville's wine cellar.
