It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! Tad Holtsinger, V.P. Sales - Eastern Division, Peter Mondavi & Company, presented a wine tasting class for The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville. Charles Krug Wines were featured along with some fairly new productions from Marc Mondavi. 6 Charles Krug wines were tasted, discussed and analyzed in a seated tasting format as Tad guided us through the appearance, nose, palate, finish and final assessment of these wines.
Hors d'oeuvres were served as we arrived and a buffet luncheon, catered by Biscotti's was served after the educational portion of the tasting. For fun, Tad demonstrated how to use divining rods to locate water. Not surprisingly, The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville has a few "water witches" in its membership!
