LWFS Fall EVent; All Italian

What an extraordinary evening! The LWFS Fall event felt like a captivating journey through Italy, bringing us the best of Italian culture, cuisine, and wine in a truly immersive experience. With 58 of our 60 members and guests in attendance, the night was filled with enthusiastic reviews and delighted guests.

The setting was beautifully adorned, complete with elegant decor that set the perfect stage for the evening. The atmosphere was elevated by the stirring performances of opera singers whose voices brought a touch of Italy’s passion and charm right to our event. Adding to the ambiance was an impressive selection of over 60 bottles of distinguished Italian wines, each thoughtfully paired with an endless array of expertly crafted courses.

The culinary lineup was a feast for the senses, featuring fresh, vibrant salads, delicate handmade pastas, flavorful swordfish, and a perfectly prepared Osso Buco that melted in our mouths. Roasted eggplant, creamy risotto, and a selection of Cerignola olives, prosciutto, and melon added even more authentic Italian flair to the table. Of course, the grand finale was a luscious Tiramisu, served with Passito di Pantelleria—a sweet wine from Sicily that provided the perfect finishing note to an unforgettable meal.

Heartfelt thanks to Bob Scarano and Kent Trimble for hosting such a flawless and memorable event. Their dedication and attention to detail made the evening a true success, one we’ll surely be reminiscing about for years to come.
