EVENT DESCRIPTION:
We are holding our Holiday Dinner this year at the Riviera Country Club, our first change of venue in 12 years. Our hosts, Ray Zomerfeld and Mike Battle, two former Riviera presidents, have organized an extravaganza. The Riviera has it all: great location, easy valet parking, private room, and, without a doubt, one of the best chefs in Miami, Gerard Lewis. Chef Gerard, known directly by many of us from the artistry of a stag dinner in January of this year, has created a fabulous menu that leads off with hors d’oeuvres of foie gras, oysters, and truffles and follows with shrimp bisque, lamb, and goose. Traditional ingredients with novel preparation: great fare for a great evening.
Meanwhile, Mike and Ray are digging through our cellar to find the marquee selections appropriate for such a menu.
Don’t miss capping off 2012 with our final event!
