Our fellow member, Bob Dickinson, has planned another Luncheon Extravaganza aboard the Carnival Liberty.
We will begin with Dom Pérignon with caviar in the reception. The luncheon starts with lobster and Kistler chardonnay. Then will follow unusual ravioli matched by white Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Next will be served halibut touched by the finest Spanish ham and paired with an Italian Super Tuscan. Afterwards, wash down short ribs with two fine vintages of Château Branaire (Duluc-Ducru): 1982 and 1996. Conclude your repast with a multifaceted, intricate dessert that defies a normal wine pairing; hence, we will enjoy Rosé Champagne.
Seating is limited to 72. This promises once again to be one of the most popular events of the season.
