This winter, the second location of acclaimed Manhattan restaurant Quality Meats opened in a historic Art Deco hotel in the heart of South Beach. The family-owned butcher shops found throughout New York City inspired the flagship Quality Meats, and here the concept is married with the beauty of worn Art Deco details in a Miami setting. The hotel’s original check-in desk now serves as a butcher counter with cured foods available for purchase, the former reception desk functions as a service bar, and a custom meat-hook chandelier is the centerpiece for the main bar and lounge. At Quality Meats Miami Beach, executive chef/partner Craig Koketsu offers a menu that enhances elements of a classic butchery with large cuts of beef that are cured, smoked or aged in-house. With Quality Meats Miami, Fourth Wall restaurants introduces a dining destination to South Beach that channels an old-world perspective with a distinctly modern approach.
