EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Bob Dickinson raised the bar this year and again secured the fabulous Carnival Vista where he hosted a special Ship’s Luncheon for the Miami Chapter. We have enjoyed Bob’s premiere treat and venue annually but this year is exceptional with an expanded seven course menu paired with superb wines including three 1989 and 1990 Bordeaux. The cuisine was phenomenal as are the exquisite pairings of mature wines from our cellar. We started with Krug Grand Cuvee Champagne at the reception, and wines include 2005 Corton Charlemagne, Grand Cru, Henri Boillot; 2005 Beringer Sbragia Limited Release, Napa Valley; 1989 Château La Conseillante; 1990 Château La Conseillante; 1990 Château Clinet,; and 2001 Château Lafaurie-Peyraguey Premier Cru Sauternes.
