Following a Brennan family feud, a bankruptcy and a sumptious renovation, Brennan's has been reopenned by Ralph Brennan in its home on Royal Street in the French Quarter. With visions of Eggs Hussarde and Bananas Foster dancing in their heads, New Orleaneans and visitors alike welcome back Breakfast at Brennan's behind its iconic pink façade. But your New Orleans IW&FS counterparts were privileged to enjoy their holiday extravaganza in the sumptuous new Brennan's.
Branch President Chris Dorion arranged the dinner and fortunately was able to secure a larger room for our enthusiastic members and their guests. Sommelier Michelle Dorion O'Connell chose the wines. Bill and Cathy Kuhlman donated the 1990 Château Croizet Bages, Imperium in celabration of the 50th anniversary of their first date.
NV Henriot Brut Souverain
Dios Baco Elite Oloroso Sherry
2004 Domaine Faively les Cazetiers, Magnum from the branch cellar
1990 Château Croizet Bages, Imperium donated by the Kuhlmans
2006 Château Lynch Bages, Pauillac from the branch cellar
2012 Patrick Puize Chablis Premier Cru

Many thanks to all who made our dinner an exceptional experience, especially Ralph and Executive Chef Slade Rushing.
