For our Valentine’s Day, Italian event on Tuesday, February 7th, we have an incredible dinner planned at Fiola, a recent winner of one Michelin star.  Fiola is located at 601 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC  20004, and can be accessed via 678 Indiana Avenue NW.  Valet parking will be available.

Our four course meal will be complemented with the finest Italian wines in our cellar, ones that are perfectly aged to be consumed now and which pair very well with the dinner courses.  For our reception, we will accompany a Ferrari Brut NV with East & West Coast Oysters Served Raw on the Half Shell, Yuzu Granita; a Canape Spoon of 24-Month-Aged Prosciutto di Parma with Burrata of Buffalo Mozzarella; and Foie Gras Mousse in a Port Reduction.  Our first course will be a divine Olive Oil Poached Halibut prepared with Littleneck Clams and Seafood Risotto of Tuscan Farro served with Orsolani La Rustia Erbaluce Di Caluso 2015.  Our second course will consist of a to-die-for Acquerello Risotto with Wild Mushrooms and Bonati Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese exquisitely paired with Chiarlo Barbaresco Asili 1998.  Moving to the third course, we will feature two of our outstanding cellar wines--Tenuto San Guido Sassicaia 2005 and Marchesi Antinori Tignanello 2005--married with a Rosemary Seared Beef Tenderloin with Wild Mushrooms and Piedmontese Brasato Sauce.  Finally, we will enjoy a Castello Banfi Summus 1997 with a selection of Artisanal Cheeses.  Between the food, wine and company, all of your senses will tingle with delight.

For this dinner, the price to members and guests will be $170.  Space is limited so reserve early.  The deadline for reservations is Thursday, February 2nd.  Dress is jacket and ties for men and festive attire for ladies.  Demonstrate your love for your significant other and enjoy a beautiful meal with your wine club friends by sharing an early Valentine’s Day dinner at Fiola.
