Sake Tasting at Takumi Restaurant

Our members gathered for a wonderful evening of traditional Japanese Kaiseki food at the lovely Takumi restaurant located on Keppel Island.  Members were given a special tutored sake tasting by Japanese Sake Master Mr Kimijima who was in Singapore for a short period of time.  Members tasted 6 sakes and learnt about the sake process and the differences in the various types of sake.

Cocktails were served on the verandah and dinner was held in the private room.  The cuisine was delicate and matched perfectly with the sake.  This was an extremely memorable evening.  We thank Mr Kimijima for guiding us through the sakes.
