After 30 years at the pinnacle of the Melbourne fine dining scene, and holding the lauded 3 hat status for 17 of those years, it is time for us to bid farewell to a culinary icon and friend of the Society – Jacques Reymond.
Each of us will fondly recall special meals at his elegant Windsor restaurant, a vanguard of Melbourne’s fine dining scene. Taking inspiration from local produce, Jacques conjures modern French cuisine that is equally innovative as it is poised. Depth of flavour, attention to detail and exemplary service ensure a magical dining experience which sets the standard in contemporary Australian dining.
As a true friend of the Society, Jacques has extended to us a very special invitation to experience his cooking within the setting of his beautiful restaurant one last time.
For our dinner, organisers Graeme Edwards, Erik Lehnacker and Raden Rodrigue have worked with Jacques to develop a menu that showcases an artist at the peak of his craft. To compliment each of these dishes they have selected some outstanding classically paired wines.
Please join us on November 27th to enjoy an iconic Melbourne food and wine experience one last time and wish Jacques all the best for the future.
