The Tea Rooms of Yarck won the Age Good Food Guide's award in 2011 for Victoria's 'Best Country Restaurant'. On Sunday 29 May, the Victoria Branch is setting off by bus to find out why. There's nothing much at Yarck, which is about 1 1/2 hours from Melbourne, other than the Tea Rooms at Yarck, but now we really have an incentive to visit. From its beginnings as a humble 'Tea Rooms', the Tea Rooms of Yarck have morphed into an exciting Italian Trattoria with Sardinian undertones. Some wonderful Italian wines have also been selected for this special lunch.
