In films and books, Dom Pérignon Champagne is represented as the height of luxury. The Dom Pérignon 2000 should be at a peak, still fresh, complex and alluring.  But how will it rate against Moët & Chandon Imperial Brut 1983, another premium Champagne?  And can Dom Pérignon beat eight exciting, award-winning, but much less expensive English sparkling wines?
