Our first event of the 2015 -2016 season will be at the Mirbeau Inn and Spa, located within “The Pinehills” development, located conveniently off of Route 3 in Plymouth.
Under Chef Stephen Coe, Mirbeau serves not only the several thousand residents in this remarkable development, but the general public as well, and is unique in sophisticated cuisine for the area. Chef Coe has provided several excellent winery sponsored dinners in the last year, some enjoyed by Diran Apelian, Peter Graffman, and me, and more by our hosts Darice and Bob Wareham, who reside in “The Pinehills”.
Reception on the Patio starts at 5:00PM with Champagne Rosé, followed by dinner at 6:00PM. Wines will include mature Savennières and white Burgundy, Mt. Etna reds, new and old world Malbec, new and old world Tannat and aged Muscat de Rivesaltes.
Please come informally dressed for a delightful end of summer evening.
Driving is easy; about 45 minutes from Braintee, via Route 128 and Route 3. From Boston and points north, take Route 3 South to exit 3, go left at the bottom of the ramp onto Clark Road, drive 0.8 mile and take the 3rd left onto Landmark Drive - Mirbeau is at #35 at the top of the hill. (If coming from the Cape and points south, take Route 3 North to exit 3 and take a right at the end of the ramp onto Clark Road.)
Guests are welcome at the same costs as members.
Darice and Bob have arranged a special rate at the Inn of $149/night. Please call (877) 647-2328 and ask for The Wine & Food Society of Boston rate when booking.
