The second of three tutored wine tastings which will enable us to learn more about our favourite subject: Wine! Discover how wine is made. Do wines really taste that different from each other? Learn more about this fascinating subject, influenced by economics, history, geography, chemistry, politics, romance and hard headed business decisions (just to name a few areas of interest). Through a progression of three tutored tastings, learn to appreciate what is in your glass.
In our second tasting, building on knowledge gained, we can apply what we know to look at further grape types and blends (of grape types) ranging from the indigenous to the more well known. Don't let the internationally recognized grape types dominate the winescape! Learn how to match wines with food and how to breeze through the ordeal of ordering wines for others.
In our third and final tasting, we will look at another grouping of wines: Sparkling wines and dessert wines. How are they made? Can we match them to food?
Bring your curiosity, your palates and discover this delightful subject! Please indicate number of persons and which tasting(s) you will attend:
