Overview

Welcome to the Cayman Islands Branch of the International Wine & Food Society.  With picturesque beaches, gourmet restaurants and year-round sunny weather, our members enjoy the world’s best food and wine in both a warm and friendly environment.

First chartered in 1987, we host between six to eight events each year, usually held on Grand Cayman.  Whether it’s a wine tasting at a private home, dinner at an elegant George Town restaurant or a world-class cooking demonstration, our members leave each event with a greater appreciation of food and wine.

To accomplish this, we established the IWFS Wine Company Ltd., a not-for-profit company financed by redeemable shares issued to the Branch's members. With an emphasis on purchasing a wide range of fine wines, our members are able to enjoy bottles not readily available in the Cayman Islands or anywhere else in the Caribbean.

As part of the world’s oldest gastronomic society, we pride ourselves on being much more than just a wine club.  With over six thousand members worldwide, we are truly international in scope, allowing those who join our branch the opportunity to attend events held all over the globe.

Membership in our Branch is by invitation only.  Members usually join in October annually, and we encourage those interested in membership to come to several events as guests before joining.
