We're pleased to send you formal notice of the 2018 Annual General Meetings of the Cayman Islands branch of the International Wine & Food Society and of the IW&FS Wine Company Ltd, both of which will be held concurrently at the Cracked Conch Restaurant at 12:30pm on Saturday 9 February 2019. Because holding the AGMs at the Cracked Conch works so well, apart from the West Bay Road evening rush hour traffic from George Town, we’ve decided to hold the AGMs on a Saturday lunchtime to avoid those traffic delays and uncertainties. We hope this change of day and time will be popular.
You'll find more details in the attached Notices and Agenda (please click on the links at the foot of this email). Copies of the minutes of the 2017 AGMs and of the draft accounts are/will be available on the Society’s website.
Although the Notices and Agenda indicate a meeting start time of 12:30pm, please join us for a glass of Crémant de Bougogne from 12noon onwards, to allow for a prompt start of the meetings at 12:30pm.
After the meetings, we hope that you’ll be able to join us for lunch. Chef Gilbert has designed a lighter menu of just thee courses, suitable for lunchtime. There's a link to the menu (which also lists the wines) below. Each wine is classic example of its type and has also been selected to be lighter and well-suited to a lunchtime event. This choice of food and wine also allows a lower ticket price than our traditional AGM dinners, at just CI$140 per person. We hope you can join us.
