Bouchard Tasting 3

Dear IWFS Members,

In the Fall of 2023 we held two tastings of Bouchard wines from a mixed case of 12 red and 12 white. These from the excellent 2008 and 2009 vintages, which the IWFS had bought on release.  The final tasting in this series will be held on Monday 26 February.

The wines are:

Red: Clos Vougeot (Grand Cru), Les Cailles (Nuits St Georges 1er cru), Les Rugiens (Pommard 1er cru)  

White:  En Remilly (Chassagne Montrachet 1er cru), Les Folatieres and Champ Gain (both Puligny Montrachet 1r cru).

The event will be held at Le Petit Wine Bar in Pasadora Place. This is the sister operation of where we held the first two tastings. Please note the location in George Town (do not attend the location in West Bay).  A good size charcuterie board will be served immediately after the tasting, accompanied by a few bins ends.

The cost is CI$100 per person.

Places are strictly limited to 16 people. Priority will be given to members who did not attend either of the first two tastings provided they reserve their place and pay by 16 February. Thereafter, attendance will be allocated from a waitlist on a first come, first served basis.  So if you wish to come, respond asap.  It is highly unlikely there will be space for guests. Refunds for cancellations will only be made if the space is subsequently filled. 

Once you place is confirmed via return email from me, you can remit your payment online to CNB by selecting us in the drop down payee list or make a domestic online payment to Cayman National Bank, CI$ account: 011-10174 and include your name in the details. Cash or cheque will also be accepted on the evening of the event. Please do not pay until your space has been confirmed via return email from me.
