We are delighted to announce the details for our Wine and Food Pairing event. This is being run as part of our new members initiative and everyone is encouraged to invite guests who are potential new members.

We are extraordinarily lucky that Chef Frederic, executive chef at the Ritz Carlton, will be presenting this exclusive event in Blue, with our own Paul Anderton and Colin Meronuk leading the wine discussion.

The format of the event will be 4 delicious plates of food, designed by Chef Frederic and presented by his Ritz banquet team in Blue.  Each will be served with two comparative tasting wines – one old world and one new world – to demonstrate classic food and wine pairings, what works and what does not. Each of the dishes has been selected by Chef Frederic to reflect four of the Ritz Carlton’s restaurant styles:  

The wines have been selected for their typicity with the primary objective of highlighting the “pairing” aspect of the event.  

Obviously, at this price point we will not be drinking top end wines but each will reflect the distinct characteristics of their origin. Also, we wanted to clarify that although the event will be held in “Blue”, the event is not a “Blue by Eric Ripert” event - it is being prepared for us by the Ritz banquet staff in the Blue restaurant.
