The details for this event are as follows:

Price: CI$150

Date: 5 April 2025

Time: 11:30am for pre-meeting drinks; 12:00pm for the AGMs and 1:30pm for the luncheon

Where: Abacus Restaurant, Camana Bay

Dress Code: Smart Casual

As historically done, the welcome reception will include the Society's famous AGM Bin Ends.  Some of the wines available will include top class Bordeaux with 20 years of bottle age, outstanding Rhone producers such as Guigal, Napa wine from the 90s and many other superb wines which we look forward to sharing with our members.

The menu and wine pairings for the luncheon will be as follows:

Menu

 Appetizer

Cold smoked salmon, cream cheese blinis

Baba Ghanoush, crispy sweet potato, pomegranate

 First

Crispy soft-shell crab

Beaumont des Crayeres, Grand Reserve, Champagne

Our wine pairings begin with a fantastic Champagne which is golden in colour with fine bubbles. This Champagne has a rich profile of biscuit, brioche, honey, grapefruit and butter, all underpinned with mouthwatering acidity.

 Second

Striped bass, rainbow chard, oyster mushroom, caviar beurre blanc, chive oil

Viré-Clessé - Domaine de la Bongran, 2017

A chardonnay which will pair brilliantly with this course and will please all lovers of white Burgundy in both its precision and its freshness.  Perfectly balanced in both fruit forwardness and classic Burgundian minerality, this wine has both the depth and a wonderful texture to savour.

 Third

Mango sorbet

 Fourth

Filet mignon, foie gras, fondant potato, black garlic port wine sauce

O'Shaughnessy Napa Valley, 2014

A full-bodied cabernet sauvignon from Napa Valley.  This exceptional wine is full of dark fruit and is testament to the intensity of the grapes which are harvested from the very prestigious Howell Mountain.  The O-Shaughnessy will make a perfect accompaniment to this course.

 Dessert

Coconut & tropical fruit pavlova, passionfruit sauce
