Overview
The International Wine & Food Society of Chicago was founded on December 17th, 1934 and is the third oldest branch in the Americas. Our history is a rich one, and like all the other branches of the IWFS, our goals include:
- Enjoying expertly crafted meals paired with the finest wines from the branch cellar.
- Working with the best chefs of Chicago, from the traditional to the newest, to allow them to showcase their abilities.
- Educating our members as to the finer points of wines and the culinary arts.
Membership in our Branch is by invitation only.
