26 people, including 5 guests attended this Black Tie Holiday Event held at the Omaha Country Club, which is definitely one of our favorite venues.  The Charcuterie ,which was all house-made was spectacular, and were nicely paired with the wines.   The Chilean wine was a favorite.   The Waldorf salad was beautiful and paired very well with the sparkling wine.  The Soup course , paired with a 100 rated Syrah was over the top!  The Entre , paired with the Pinot  got rave reviews.   The Bouch de noel  was rich and delightful, and the Champagne was crisp and tasty. Most felt that a port might have  better complemented the dessert, but we no one was compaining, because over-all it was a great meal !  To enhance the educational experience, the chef did a great job in opening remarks about the menu and the wines, and remarks between courses.   After dinner we listened and sang to Christmas music, which made this event a highlight of our Christmas Season
