The Greater Omaha Branch Summer Progressive Party commenced at the  beautiful River Winds home of hostess Dr. Linda Ford in Bellevue, NE., the oldest town in Nebraska.  The impressive home and grounds are nestled in the woods above the Missouri River.  Other members in charge of the event were Mary Mitchell and Janice Rustia.  Members were greeted by valets and brought with them an Heavy Hors D'oeuvre, that resulted in an amazing variety of selections and tastes being served Buffet style.  The Hors D'oeuvres  were served with a 2014 E. Guigal Cotes Du Rhone Blanc and a 2013 Feraud-Brunel Cotes Du Rhone Villages Rouge.  Following Quaffing, members drove to the Bellevue family owned Stella's Bar & Grill, established in 1936, famed for their specialty Stellaburgers and Homemade Fries.  Each member selected their Stellaburger ingredients.  Bowls of Homemade White and Sweet Potato Fries, Onion Rings and Kettle-Style Potato Chips were served on each table.  The meal concluded with a dessert of delicious Fried Ice Cream topped with chocolate syrup, sprinkles and whipped cream. A selection of Crafted Beers was available to members and for those preferring wine, a 2014 Marietta Cellars Alexander Valley Angeli Cuvée was served.
