The Greater Omaha Branch of IWFS holds dinners, wine tastings, and educational events throughout the year. Our goal is to provide 8 to 10 events per year for our members and guests.

Some highlights include:

  • Our annual summer picnic
  • Our annual Holiday dinner at Omaha Country Club or Happy Hollow Country Club

Half of our members, 22, attended this event.  We had a small private room with 2 tables of 6 and 2 of 5. The majority chose the beef entrée, though those who had the lamb raved about it, as some of the couples had one of each to compare.

Attendees declared it a 5 star event and that wines were finely matched.  Sommelier, Nic Henke is an expert at French pairings, having traveled to France with Chef Cedric Fichepain, a native of France, many times. 

We were blessed to have their experience with this elegant, perfectly served, authentic dinner.
