El Camino de Santiago
The Wine & Food Society of Jacksonville welcomed the 2020-2021 season with an opening dinner at San Jose Country Club, working closely with the staff to meet the latest CDC guidelines as well as those outlined by local authorities. The theme, El Camino de Santiago, followed a route travelling from the areas of Bordeaux thru Basque country and Galicia, a traditional European pilgrimage. The dinner was held in honor of our late past president, Mike Mass. A short meeting preceded the dinner. And to add a little fun to the evening, a contest was held for the most impressive or outstanding mask.
