Overview
Located in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul, our Branch is one of over 70 in the Americas.
Our Board of Directors includes an appointed Cellar Master, who manages our well-established wine cellar. Part of each year's dues and event income is applied toward purchasing wine futures, which enables us to appreciate finely-aged wines years down the road for a fraction of the current market price.
We present a variety of events throughout the year, varied in both price and level of formality. The calendar begins with an informal ethnic dinner, providing our Cellar Master with the challenge of pairing wine with diverse world cuisines. The May Andre Simon dinner requires black tie and medallions and usually showcases some of our finest cellar wines. The casual summer picnic, where we share our own favorite wines with each other, often is scheduled to celebrate Bastille Day or has themes ranging from a Cape Cod Lobster Boil to a New Orleans Jazz Fest. The fall provides members with wine tastings, wild game dinners, and fall harvest cuisine. We celebrate the end of the year with a members-only Holiday Party.
Our overall goals reflect the spirit of our founder, Andre Simon:
- Enjoying gourmet meals and fine wines with good friends in a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
- Meeting chefs and winemakers to learn their secrets for wine and food pairings.
- Educating our members as to the finer points of wines and the culinary arts.
- Seizing the day and living life to the fullest!
Membership in our Branch is by invitation only, but we welcome membership inquiries! For details, please
