Overview
The Naples Branch of The International Wine & Food Society is entering its 21st year of existence, having been founded as the first new Branch of the 21st Century, We are one of the more active branches in the Americas and one of the larger branches with a full membership of 100.
The members of the Naples Branch bring to the table a diverse background of wine and food knowledge and experience and our event planning definitely reflects this diversity. The Board plans the event schedule a year in advance to accommodate the heavy travel plans of our membership and to work around the demands of a seasonal population on Naples venues. Members represent 13 states as well as 3 countries. Our members range in age from the 40's to the late 80's.
We have a number of single members and encourage single attendees when spouses are unable to attend.
Our five regular events are supplemented by a "Cellar Master Series", which provides a number of wine tastings for small groups during the season for those wishing to pursue their interest in wine beyond what we include in our regular dinner events.
Participation in the Naples Branch of the IW&FS enriches the wine and food experience that is a part of life in southwest Florida. Membershp expands "the art of the table" by sharing such experiences with like-minded people - it is truly all about Wine, Food and Friends.
