The Oakville Branch arranges for eight events annually including our annual wine tour. We have had evenings tasting olive oils, been entertained by culinary authors, hosted representatives of entire wine regions and of course enjoyed fabulous food. We have made foie gras together, sailed together and had the enormous pleasure of blending our branchs' signature meritage. Our chapter is constantly finding new ways to enjoy food, wine and of course eachother's company. After all the Christmas fare its time to tone it down a little and enjoy a simple meal. But your executive thought you might need something a little special to lure you all out on a cold Tuesday evening in January, so here goes.

Jim Henry and Richard Birkett are finalizing arrangements for a tuscan meal at Julia's in Oakville and Tom Alton is in negotiations with the LCBO to have Maria (the consultant at the Trafalgar/Cornwall location) join us to present the accompanying tuscan wines she will have selected.

Most of you already know how knowlegeable and helpful Maria is, so this is quite a coup. See you there!
