Overview

Welcome to the Oklahoma Central Branch of the International Wine & Food Society! As part of the world’s oldest and largest gastronomic society for over thirty forty years, we continue to host numerous food and wine events in both Oklahoma City and the surrounding area.  During that time we have watched “The Big Friendly” grow from an emerging oil town to a booming metropolis that is now home to several Fortune 500 companies.  

Since 1986, our branch usually hosts between four and eight events per year.  Whether it’s a wine tasting or a dinner in Bricktown, we strive to create the best culinary experience in a friendly and relaxed environment.  Of course, being part of a city that Forbes Magazine declared to be recession proof has steadily increased our choice of venues, including numerous five-star restaurants and a thriving entertainment district just east of downtown Oklahoma City.
