Did you know that only a small handful of wineries in California remained open during prohibition? Through a small loophole, a select few wineries were able to survive by producing sacramental wine for the Catholic church...along with likely bootlegging some wine on the side. :)
Join us at Barnato's speakeasy for a prohibition themed dinner where we'll be featuring the Napa Valley wineries that have been in operation for over 100 years. And it's always more fun to party in costume, right? So, put on your Roaring 20's attire and rock your favorite fedora, suspenders or bow tie!
We're also excited to have Advanced Sommelier, Matt Brown, with us to talk about the history of each winery and make this an educational event as well.
