The Washington DC Chapter conducts ten dinner events annually. Dinner Chairpersons are selected by the President and rotate through the entire membership. Dinner events take place throughout the DC, Maryland and Virginia area at  restaurants, dining clubs and country club facilities. The food is accompanied by wines selected by the five member wine committee with more than half the wines coming from our extensive cellar facility that has been in existence since the 1950s. Some examples of recurring dinner themes include: Great Wines Dinner, Wine Education Dinner, and Seafood Feast.

Announcing the IWFS-DC Seafood dinner!
October 12, 2021 at
Fiola Mare
This will be a true seafood extravaganza featuring seafood from all over the world. We will start with a full raw bar and then have 3 courses featuring different types of seafood with wine pairings to match.
The RSVP window for this event is narrow... only 1 week. This event has a cap of only 50 seats total. Therefore, only members exclusively (no guests) can RSVP from now until until Wednesday October 6, at 8PM.  From 8PM Wednesday, Oct 6th until Friday, October 8th at 1PM, members may register their guests, first come first served, until we reach the cap of 50 total participants.  Reservations will close on Friday October 8 at 1PM, unless the cap is reached sooner.
As always, there is a two-step process for RSVPing and for paying. In the first step you will click on the "register for this event tab."  After registering, for the second step, members will click the BLUE "Buy now" button to purchase seats. When you arrive at the credit card payment page, please, at a minimum, enter your name. You do not have to enter your address and other personal demographic information, but if you don't enter your name, we might not know who is making the payment!
At 8PM on Wednesday October 6, 2021, members can log back in and will be able to register guests and then click on the GOLD "Buy now" button for guest seats.
