Overview
IWFS Manila Ladies (Philippines)
The Manila Ladies Branch was established on September 29 2001 with 40 founding members. We are a group of women who all simply enjoy the culinary arts. Amongst our distinguished roster of founding members was the late Culinary Icon and Food Writer par excellence - Doreen Gamboa Fernandez. The DGF (Doreen Gamboa Fernandez) Food Writing Contest, which is the only nationwide food writing contest in the Philippines, and a flagship project of the Manila Ladies Branch, is held every year in her memory.
The IWFS Manila Ladies Branch is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-stock, not for profit entity, and is governed by a Board of Directors elected annually by the membership during their Annual General Meetings.
Membership: A lady interested in joining the branch is invited to attend three gatherings as a guest of a regular member in good standing before she can file an application for membership and be recommended by a member for membership in the society.
We are currently the only ALL Ladies Branch in the IWFS International family! If you are interested in joining our group, please click on Contact Us.
