For our annual black tie dinner, we return this year to the "new" Old Manila which will reopen, after months of renovation, just two weeks before our event with a new Chef de Cuisine, Ricardo Arquista, an Argentinian-Italian, who has had over 17 years of kitchen experience in highly acclaimed restaurants and five-star hotels in Europe and Argentina, including the two-Michelin star Hacienda Benazuza, El Bulli Hotel in Sanlucar la Mayor and the three-Michelin star El Bulli in Barcelona. He then moved to the Middle East to head the kitchens of Restaurante La Mer and Porcini at The Ritz Carlton in Doha. In 2012, Chef Ricardo was named the winner of the Doha Food Festival Black Box Competition.
