The Saigon Branch will hold its May Dinner on May 8 at the Orientica Restaurant at the Equatorial Hotel, presenting a Malaysian food and wine pairing. It promises to be an extraordinary presentation of Malaysian gastronomy with carefully matched wines. Chef Vincent Tan has designed a special 8 course menu to enhance the wine rather than to present the typical spicy, staple Malaysian dishes that taste great but can sometimes struggle with wine. Orientica is also a very special restaurant, included in Gourmet Vietnam's Top 100 restaurants, winning Best Restaurant and Best Culinary Establishment in 2009, and being a Gold Medal winner at the 2009 Vietnam Culinary Challenge.
