February Events

February 15, 2012
Theme Michael Lambie at The Smith
Venue The Smith (Private Room)
Location 213 High Street, Prahran
Date Feb 15, 2012

We are delighted to be visiting a new restaurant for this first event of the year.  Function organisers Peter Millington and Sean Rogan have chosen ‘The Smith’ in Prahran, which re-opened late last year after being fully renovated by new owners Michael Lambie and Scott Borg (ex Taxi and Circa).

Chef Michael Lambie is a previous winner of 3 Chefs Hats and Restaurant of the Year.  Not surprisingly, The Smith is proving to be hugely popular – Lambie certainly seems to have hit on a formula for success at his new abode.  We will be eating in the Private Room upstairs – referred to as ‘Mr Smith’.   We’ve also chosen some rather special wines to celebrate the opening of the New Year – it is shaping up to be quite an exciting function.
