This year we celebrate across the world, the 85^th year since the inception of the International Wine and Food Society. 

Founded in 1933 and now based in 30 countries, we are the oldest, most widespread and most renowned independent gastronomic society in the world.  Following the vision of the founder André L. Simon (1877-1970),

“for the princely annual sum of 1 guinea, one could become a member and thereby receive free and disinterested advice on how thought and care in matters of eating and drinking offer far greater rewards than mere satisfaction of appetite and that good meals can be achieved without great expense and to the spread and practice of its doctrines.”

It is only fitting that we celebrate this important event in a heritage building.  Montgomery Hall originally built in 1904 as part of Montgomery House.  It has recently been elegantly renovated to its former glory.
