Overview

The Surrey Hills Branch  focuses slightly more on food than on wine! We organise gatherings in a large area to the south west of London. These events are held at restaurants and frequently in members' homes and gardens, and are varied in their format. The Branch has a small membership, but our events - most of which are anything but formal - are always attended by many IWFS members from nearby Branches, in particular London and Berkshire.  The majority of these occasions are held at lunchtime.  All IWFS members are welcome.   Please contact the Chairman, Susie Punch,  for any information  kipnsue@btinternet.com

We are very fortunate to live in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty which include a section of the wine-producing North Downs.  Clustered within 15 miles of each other on these south-east and south facing chalk slopes are the vineyards of Greyfriars, Chilworth Manor, Albury Organic, High Clandon and Denbies. 

Visiting this area is a worthwhile experience!
