For our next event Alan and Valerie have arranged an evening at Roots Restaurant in Southbourne. This intimate little restaurant has exceptional ratings and has gained a fearsome reputation for fine dining. Owners Jan and Stacy Bretschneider describe it as “a neighbourhood restaurant with an attraction for good food”. They are being unduly modest!

 

We shall be welcomed with a glass of Prosecco, then enjoy their classic tasting menu accompanied by six wines, and finish with their lovely coffee. Jan will discuss each course as it is served, and the wines will be described by Geza, their wine man.
