IWFS Asia Pacific Award Criteria

IWFS Asia Pacific - Certificate of Commendation

Criteria:

To an IWFS Asia Pacific member for highly commendable service to his/her Branch

 

IWFS Asia Pacific – White Medal of Commendation

Criteria:

1. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member for continued and exceptional service to his/her Branch over at least 6 years including having served in anOfficer capacity on the Branch Committee

Or

2. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member that is instrumental in the planning and running of an IWFS Festival

Or

3. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member that is instrumental in the establishment and development of 1 successful new branch

 

IWFS Asia Pacific – Blue Medal of Exceptional Service

Criteria:

1. To an IWFS Asia Pacific Office Holder for service to IWFS Asia Pacific at an exceptional level over at least 3 years

Or

2. To an IWFS Asia Pacific Executive Committee member for service to IWFS Asia Pacific at an exceptional level over at least 6 years

Or

3. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member who has previously been awarded the IWFS Asia Pacific White Medal of Commendation: It requires a showing of continued and exceptional service to his/her Branch over at least 10 years including having served in an Officer capacity on theBranch Committee

Or

4. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member for exceptional service acting in the capacity of Festival Chair or Co-Chair of an IWFS RegionalFestival

Or

5. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member that is instrumental in the establishment and development of 2 successful new branches

 

IWFS Asia Pacific – Andre Simon Bronze Medal

Criteria:

1. To an IWFS Asia Pacific Office Holder who has already been awarded the IWFS Asia Pacific Blue Medal of Exceptional Service: Forservice to the IWFS Asia Pacific at

an exceptional level over at least 6 years

Or

2. To an IWFS Asia Pacific Executive Committee member who has already been awarded the IWFS Asia Pacific Blue Medal of ExceptionalService: For service to the IWFS Asia Pacific at an exceptional level over at least 9 years

Or

3. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member who has previously been awarded the IWFS Asia Pacific Blue Medal of Exceptional Service: It requires a showing of continued

and exceptional service to his/her Branch over at least 14 years including having served as Branch President

Or

4. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member for exceptional service acting in the capacity of Festival Chair or Co-Chair of an IWFS Triennial Festival orto an IWFS Asia Pacific member who has already been awarded the IWFS Asia Pacific Blue Medal of Exceptional Service, for exceptionalservice acting in the capacity of Festival Chair or Co-Chair of an IWFS Regional Festival

Or

5. To an IWFS Asia Pacific member who has already been awarded the IWFS Asia Pacific Blue Medal of Exceptional Service: That is instrumental in the establishment and development of at least 3 successful new branches

Award Application Process

The application process for all APZ awards is the same. The Branch President, his/her designee, or an IWFS Asia Pacific Committee Member isto submit a written request to the IWFS Asia Pacific Committee clearly identifying:

1. The member being nominated
2. The award sought
3. Evidence demonstrating that the nominee has met the required award criteria

If the request is initiated by other than the Branch President of the nominee, it is important to first contact the respective Branch President torequest their input.
